International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA)

The International Dance Teachers Association is one of the UK's largest examining and membership bodies for dance teachers. It awards amateur medal tests and professional teaching qualifications across ballroom, Latin, sequence and theatre styles. IDTA supports teachers and schools through syllabi, examinations, and a network of events. Many UK dance schools list IDTA membership on Dance Companion as a mark of structured training and assessment.
